Monaco & The French Riviera
The iconic destination for superyacht photography. The harbor backdrop, with its famous casino and Belle Époque architecture, instantly communicates luxury and exclusivity.
- Best for: Superyacht exteriors, glamour shots, lifestyle photography
- Best time: May-June (before peak crowds) or September (Monaco Yacht Show)
- Pro tip: Shoot from the Palace hill for the classic harbor overview
Sardinia's Costa Smeralda
The emerald waters of Sardinia are unmatched for their color. Porto Cervo and the surrounding coast offer pristine backgrounds with that distinctive turquoise hue.

- Best time: June-September
- Pro tip: The coves of La Maddalena archipelago offer the clearest waters
Nothing beats the waters of Sardinia for that Caribbean-blue color — but with Mediterranean architecture in the background.
Croatian Islands
Croatia's Dalmatian coast offers dramatic backdrops: medieval walled cities, endless islands, and crystal-clear Adriatic waters. Dubrovnik, Hvar, and Split are all excellent locations.

- Pro tip: Kornati National Park offers the most untouched island landscapes
Ibiza & The Balearics
